Soft Tooling vs Hard Tooling
Soft Tooling (Aluminum / P20 Steel): Mold lead time 10-15 days, lifespan 50,000-100,000 shots, unit price ¥3,000-50,000, suitable for low-volume validation and medium-volume production.
Hard Tooling (H13 / S136 / NAK80): Mold lead time 20-40 days, lifespan 500,000-3,000,000 shots, unit price ¥30,000-300,000+, suitable for high-volume mass production, hot runner and multi-cavity design.
