Mold Manufacturing Services

From P20 soft tooling to H13 / S136 hard tooling, hot runner, multi-cavity, two-shot, and insert molds, covering the full cycle from prototyping to million-part production.

Mold Types

  • Soft Tooling / Bridge Tooling: P20 / 7075 aluminum, 5,000-30,000 shot life, 7-15 day lead time, ¥3,000-50,000
  • Production Hard Tooling: H13 / S136 / NAK80 (HRC 48-58), 500,000-1,000,000 shot life, 25-45 day lead time, ¥30,000-300,000+
  • Multi-Cavity Molds: 4 / 8 / 16 / 32 cavities, with hot runner and balanced runner systems
  • Two-Shot / Two-Material Molds: Hard-hard overmolding / TPE overmolding, 1+1 or 2+2 stations
  • Insert Molds: Metal inserts / nuts / studs pre-placed before injection
  • Die Casting Molds / Die Casting Fixtures: For aluminum / zinc alloy die casting

Mold Development Process

  1. Free DFM Review (1-3 days): Identify draft angle / wall thickness / shrinkage / undercut / ejector pin location / gate selection issues, issue review report
  2. Mold Flow Analysis (Optional): Moldflow / Moldex3D simulation of filling, packing, cooling, and warpage
  3. Mold Design: Parting line, runner, cooling channel, ejection system, insert structure
  4. Mold Manufacturing (10-40 days): Rough machining → CNC finishing → EDM → Polishing / Texturing → Assembly
  5. T1 Trial: First samples delivered free of charge, appearance and dimensional verification
  6. Mold Modification and T2 / T3: Adjustments based on feedback, final sign-off for SOP

Mold Ownership and Maintenance

  • Paying customers own 100% of the mold, as explicitly stated in the contract
  • Free maintenance during production (cleaning / rust prevention / polishing upkeep)
  • Upon termination of cooperation, molds are returned or destroyed per customer request (destruction video evidence provided)
  • NDA protection throughout; mold structure and drawings are not disclosed
